Challenges You Will Solve
As a security ally, some of the best security teams in the world depend on our software to protect their organization! You will empower our technical and customer facing teams  to deliver expanded investigation and detection capabilities for current and future Red Canary customers. With your deep understanding of security solutions, you will be a force multiplier in ensuring every security team we serve has an outstanding experience working with Red Canary and views us as an innovative leader in the MDR ecosystem.

What You'll Do

    • Engineer integrations at the API level between Red Canary and new product integration partners
    • Maintain Red Canary's testing and prototyping lab for product integrations
    • Empower our teams with clear documentation and definitive answers, enabling them to implement optimal data and configuration options for supported security products
    • Partner with a wide range of teams including Technical Support, Customer Success, Incident Handling, Sales Engineering, Product Management and Engineering, to ensure that our customers get the help they need with product integrations
    • Be the subject matter expert on product integrations in order to train customer facing teams
    • Act as the primary technical contact of your assigned partners for Red Canary teams and customers, including escalation of support requests
    • Build and maintain relationships with product integration partners

What You'll Bring

    • Over 3 years of experience in the Security industry with an engineering background is preferred
    • Software Engineering experience; Ruby on Rails is a plus
    • ​​Experience handling various areas of product integration such as syslog, webhooks, API’s and certificates.
    • A passion for uncovering the specific value that customers of detection and alerting security solutions will find in Red Canary
    • Experience navigating security ecosystem with systems administration and detection expertise in products like Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Okta, Proofpoint, AWS, Azure, GSuite, Office365
    • An accurate sense of what customers are looking for in their security solutions and the ability to balance the priorities of detecting threats quickly with the bigger picture of building something customers can’t live without
    • You understand using operating system process telemetry as a detection source for threats and are proficient in enterprise endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
    • Prior experience with security system administration, architecture, or configuration
    • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple initiatives with little oversight and make decisions independently
Targeted base salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
