Challenges You Will Solve

As a Director, Mid-Enterprise Sales at Red Canary you will leverage your broad knowledge of the security landscape and enterprise sales expertise to provide leadership to Mid-Enterprise Account Executives in your assigned territories. Through your persistence, determination, and creativity, you will help Red Canary create a world where every organization can make its greatest impact without fear of cyber attack.

What You'll Do

    • Define territory sales goals with leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to attain goals and quotas
    • Hire, lead and mentor a team of Mid-Enterprise Account Executives through weekly 1:1 and coaching with team members to strategize and accurately forecast to upper management
    • Collaborate with our Revenue Operations, Customer Success, SDR, Partner/Channel team and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
    • Create strategies and develop materials necessary to accelerate customer acquisition
    • Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices
    • Use CRM to maintain excellent records and report on activity and KPI’s
    • Understand and internalize the Red Canary mission and vision and translate them into an Enterprise Sales strategy
    • Participate in regular leadership meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolution
    • Develop in collaboration with team members career growth plans within the Red Canary Sales organization and empower your team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
    • Actively participate in customer onsite, calls, and any other assistance your team needs in getting deals closed
    • Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management
    • Deliver accurate forecasts that exemplify tight control of the top deals and provide organizational discipline and rigor.

What You'll Bring

    • 7+ years closing experience in a B2B technical sale, preferably in the information security industry
    • 3-5 years experience managing, hiring, mentoring and training field sales team
    • Proven sales track record with strong new customer focus
    • Excellent communication, high business acumen,  organizational and time management skills
    • Robust CRM analysis and reporting and forecasting skills (salesforce preferred)
    • Experience with building, leading and guiding Sales teams towards set goals with ability to provide and receive feedback professionally
    • Strategic problem solver with the ability to complete both short-term and long-term sales plans
    • Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills
    • Growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantly
    • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
Targeted Compensation Range: $280,000 OTE (uncapped commission + equity)

Territory: Southeast
Candidates located within territory highly preferred
