Senior Security Analyst (Remote, USA)

We are looking for an accomplished security analyst with deep experience in a Blue Team or Security Operations role to help us fortify our defenses and protect the systems that help hungry people to order their food quickly and securely.

We want people who are passionate about finding risks, analyzing the related data and collaborating on the right strategic risk mitigation measures. Reducing risk while supporting innovation.

Reporting to the Director, Security Engineering you will assess and respond to adversarial attacks while still maintaining up-time of our systems and protecting the data of our clients and their customers.

What You'll Do

    • Guide ongoing optimizations by implementing new technologies, replacing technologies, and automating security activities
    • Engineer highly available, scalable, secure solutions that exceed our customers needs
    • Establish processes and procedures allowing the team to respond to threats across our diverse set of brands and partners
    • Use tools and techniques for detecting, addressing and preventing fraudulent activities
    • Define a simplified security metrics approach that enables leadership and operational staff to quickly take action on application security related risks
    • Incident Detection and Response
    • Find threats to detect risks and avoid advanced threats

    • Improve incident response processes and services
    • Detect and defend against attacks by analyzing security-related events and alerts, and assisting with incident response, remediation and mitigation activities
    • Select, test and maintain applicable security tools and services
    • Ensure incident reports are accurate, actionable and meet service level goals
    • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation if needed

    • Security Services
    • This includes security support requests, risk assessments, vendor assessments, PCI and SOC audit support and service provider management

What We'll Expect From You

    • Previous Blue Team, Security Operations, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, DevOps or Operations experience
    • Knowledge of information technology, evolving threats, attack patterns, incident response and cyber security standards
    • Experience developing and leading incident response, remediation and mitigation activities, and providing status updates and reports
    • Can analyze security events to discern events that qualify as a legitimate security incident as opposed to non-incidents. This includes security event evaluation, incident investigation, implementing countermeasures, and conducting incident response
    • Experience with Application Security, modern web protocols and Web Application Firewalls
    • Experience protecting internet-facing applications at scale
    • Experience with SIEM platforms
    • 8+ years of Information Technology experience with a focus on Security
