At Netflix, we do one thing - entertainment - and we aim to do it really well on a massive scale. Thousands of services work in tandem to bring engaging content from the minds of our creative partners to the devices where members enjoy that content. The Security Platforms Engineering (SPE) team enables Netflix to
entertain the world by building platforms that scale our approach to securing the technology powering the entertainment you know and love.
SPE builds platforms that scale security visibility and insights across our engineering and workforce ecosystems at Netflix, and we use that insight to address our top risks in a way that enables the business and helps people make informed decisions. Our platforms and data put the ‘informed’ in
Informed Captain when it comes to security. We invest in deeply understanding our vast and ever-changing ecosystem and our customers, so we can focus on the work that drives the most impact. We serve our internal customers by providing appropriate context and actionable guidance (at the right time and in the right place) that will meaningfully reduce security risk at Netflix.
We are looking for an engineer to build and advance our Asset Inventory platform at Netflix. This platform is the foundation of our understanding of our massive and unique ecosystem and its security risks and the foundation that allows Netflix to scale our approach to security. In collaboration with other team members on the squad, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features on Asset Inventory to expand our ecosystem visibility, enable customers to self-service, and drive down addressable security risks. You will also work cross-functionally with other teams across Netflix Security Engineering who need to integrate with our services.
