What you will do:

CyberArk Cloud Engineering is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Manager to build and operate our Identity and EPM FedRAMP Security Solutions. The SRE manager will lead a team of highly talented cloud engineers, and partner closely with engineering and product management teams in order to continuously improve service reliability.  


We’re looking for a team leader with a continuous improvement mindset that takes a proactive approach to preventing service availability issues, and that has experience working with highly available, large-scale enterprise cloud services running in a regulated environment.


What you need to succeed:

  • Own the overall health and availability for the solutions– Establish key performance indicators for availability (SLIs, SLOs)
  • Improve service reliability and reduce toil by automating manual, repetitive processes
  • Experience running services in a federal cloud environment (i.e. AWS GovCloud)
  • Lead projects and resource prioritization in order to meet the Site Reliability Engineering goals
  • Design, implement, and operate security controls for FedRAMP high environments
  • Enhance and improve current Incident and RCA processes
  • Proactively provide an SRE perspective to future architecture designs and implementations
  • Work closely with engineering teams, product management and security services to improve overall reliability
  • Work with stakeholders to manage different agendas and resolve issues with the rule of what's best for CyberArk
  • Proactively test the elasticity and resiliency of CyberArk Services
  • Hire and develop new team members
  • Must be a US citizen to be considered


How will you stand out from the crowd:

  • 2+ years of experience as an SRE Manager or team lead.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Site Reliability Engineer
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g.Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Modern technical management experience (Scrum/Kanban/agile)
  • Experience with modern cloud CI/CD solutions and SCM tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Git)
  • Cloud Platform Experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows server platforms
  • Knowledge of technology and security topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server and database security
  • Knowledge of Federal IT and Cloud security frameworks, including CCM, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO
  • Experience developing and documenting operational and security procedures (Patching, Product Updates, etc.)
  • Experience with container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Scripting language experience (Bash, Python)
  • Strong hands-on technical abilities
  • Proactive by nature with an internal drive for continuous improvement
  • Strong ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
