The CyberArk Returnship program is a paid 6-month program which is currently a remote position for people who have had an extended break from the world of work and would like to reconnect with their career. 


During your Returnship, you will refresh your existing skills and receive specialized learning, development, and mentorship from our R&D team. As part of a peer group of fellow Returners, we will make sure you have access to networks and the support you need to feel empowered to re-enter the workforce with confidence. Upon successful completion of the program, there will be an opportunity to apply for full-time employment.

As a QA Engineer- Returner, they will be committed to the quality of the release content and our ongoing push towards better quality and higher confidence in what we release. This person will operate in a technologically rich environment of logically complex systems and products. About the Team 

Our primary product is Conjur, an enterprise secrets vault and privilege engine for DevOps, Cloud and IaaS built upon our open-source core. Our engineers work on a wide variety of projects, from integrations with the latest DevOps tools to moonshot projects that seek to revolutionize the world of DevOps security. We deliver high-quality open-source software and more for CyberArk’s customers. 


Job Description: 

As a QA professional on the team your duties will include: 

  • Strong background and experience with manual & automated testing 

  • Work collaboratively with doc team to ensure documentation enables customer success 

  • Contribute towards and execute automated the test suites  

  • Work collaboratively to ensure rigorous functional requirements, acceptance criteria and test scenarios to ensure quality and customer satisfaction 

  • Familiar with defect creation, verification and documentation processes to ensure quality 

  • Create and contribute to test-plans and scenarios to improve test coverage and release confidence 

  • Continually look for ways to improve quality to exceed our customers’ expectations 


Requirements and Skills: 

  • Successful candidates will have 3+ years' experience in software testing and automation 

  • Candidate has good understanding of QA methodologies and practices 

  • Strong English language skills and experience reviewing & executing documentation 

  • Experience with Linux and Bash scripting 

  • Familiar with IP Networking  

  • Experience in test plan creation & execution for complex systems (manual and automated) 

  • Experience working in an Agile development process 

  • Soft skills: 

  • Excellent time management 

  • Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement 

  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with local and remote teams 

  • Self-starter with ability to work alone and to pick things up quickly and resolve/troubleshoot issues 

Preferred Experience: 

  • Previous experience testing security-focused software products 

  • Worked with and contributed to Open-Source projects  

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as RSpec, Cucumber and Go Test  

  • Experience with DevOps Tools like Ansible or Terraform 

  • Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration 

  • Experience with REST API Testing
