Job Description:

CyberArk is seeking an experienced Product Data Scientist to drive business intel gathering using modern tools and techniques to keep CyberArk’s Product and R&D teams well informed for key business decision-making.  Using your skills in exploratory analysis, you will work with Product and R&D leaders to help define indicators, invoke thoughtful business analysis, and strive for greater business predictability.  

The Product Data Scientist will work cross-functionally with other teams and stakeholders across the business with a focus on deriving intelligence around CyberArk’s SaaS offerings.  This role will be fundamental in driving a green-field effort which will provide the business key data which will drive detailed product performance analysis with an initial focus around detailed unit cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of various product knowledge gaps and working with business partners to continuously answer what-if analysis
  • Building various data solutions which solve short-term analysis but contribute to long-term strategies
  • Leveraging unstructured and structured data techniques to build reusable data sets for an ever-evolving data landscape
  • Partner with R&D and Product business leaders to define meaningful and actionable business metrics and indicators
  • Extracting actionable insights from the analysis and interpreting outcomes of complex models to present to business audiences including technical, non-technical, and senior leaders

Requirements:

  • Relentless curiosity satisfied through data
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience analyzing cloud costs in a SaaS environment
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience analyzing SaaS product operational telemetry data
  • Experience working with AWS technologies (Athena, Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, Cloudwatch, Quicksight, etc)
  • Experience with other common data science toolsets and techniques (columnar data, unstructured data, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of public cloud cost structures, utilization, billing data, and savings mechanisms
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business/Finance or an analytical field such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science
  • Experience working in close partnership with other technical professionals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert collaborator/influencer
