Job Description:

CyberArk is seeking a seasoned reliability engineering leader to scale up and mature a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs).  This leader will foster a culture of cutting-edge, SaaS-based engineering principles using public cloud infrastructure and modern tooling.

This leader will drive results through a data-driven approach using service level objectives and indicators, KPIs and related processes to drive robust problem management and operational resiliency.  Leadership through change is fundamental to the success in this role and successful candidates will exhibit comfort with fast-moving, fast-growing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, facilitate and problem-solve complex problems regularly
  • Ensure solutions solve cross-functionally, reduce reinvention and are optimized for the business
  • Ensure problem management and other processes achieve continuous improvement, identify true root cause and reduce recurrence of negative impact
  • Advocate for and drive the implementation of reliable design patterns
  • Be relentlessly customer-focused
  • Strategically organize teams for long term success and scalability with care for short and mid-term implications
  • Constantly solve for optimization

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience managing managers
  • Experience setting strategic vision in a cloud-delivered SaaS environment and winning support for the vision to leadership, stakeholders and the team
  • Experience defining and measuring operational metrics in a SaaS environment using SLOs and SLIs
  • Mentor-level expertise with modern cloud-based devops and infrastructure tooling, techniques and architecture
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Cybersecurity Experience Preferred
