CyberArk is looking for a passionate, self-driven, energetic and technical Product Owner (PO) for our Cloud Engineering group in R&D. In this role you will be responsible for filling the gap between the operational requirements and the implementation of these requirements in CyberArk's SaaS environments. The Cloud Engineering PO accompanies the entire development solution phase through product backlog management to successful production deployments. Cloud Engineering PO works closely with the Development Group management, other groups' Product Owners, Product Management and Professional Services.
Ongoing validation and review of product backlog value (prioritization/correct elements)
Review and refine the product's business requirements for CyberArk SaaS solutions
Represent PO responsibilities outside of Cloud Engineering
Own the product backlog - Deconstruct large features to smaller pieces, define and prioritize the pieces that can compose a releasable product
Be the central focal point for all parties outside of R&D department for; the services capabilities, the architecture of the service and its operations environments on the Cloud, and how a certain change will affect the services
Analyze product business requirements and produce a functional design
Raise the connection with R&D groups and with other departments (by sessions, demos, etc)
Define future release content by initial grooming/discovery together with the relevant stakeholders, initiate relevant researches together with the POs of other Development groups
Make sure, together with the line manager, that ongoing deliveries are presented on time
Own the service technical road-map, and build it to support CyberArk's SaaS business road-map
Utilize deep knowledge of the Cloud environments and deployments and the services use by customers to work hand-in-hand with rest of R&D, explain the requirements and answer any functional questions
Analytical person who can control the details but still see the full picture
Organized and formal so that communication will always be clear and everyone are harnessed
Technical skills for understanding technologies, challenges and SaaS architectures & solutions
At least 8 years of experience in the software industry
2 years experience working with SaaS solutions or Cloud Environments
3 years of experience as product owner/technical product manager, in the software industry. Experience in creating and managing large functional solutions.
Learning and continuous improvement in nature
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Diplomatic and pragmatic - works with many stakeholders and drives for the optimal result
Planning and visualization skills
BSc in computer-science/engineering, or 3-5 years hands-on experience in software development
Proven management skills
Proven Agile experience
Previous experience as pre-sale/post-sale – an advantage
Information/Cloud security experience – an advantage
