Collaborate with other Information Technology professionals within Booz Allen Hamilton to collect information and evaluate capabilities, formulate test plans, and provide proposed solutions. Identify, collaborate, and engineer cyber risk out of the environment. Manage the technical delivery of strategic initiatives and projects from inception to delivery and provide ongoing status to include any associated risks or dependencies that may impact delivery. Provide guidance to ensure security is being incorporated into new technology solutions and ensure they are meeting our current standards and requirements. Serve as cybersecurity expert in reviewing, evaluating, and categorizing risks associated with change requests that may impact overall security posture.
Experience with designing and providing support for the implementation of technical security programs, including process, and technology to mitigate security threats and risks that may impact the business through a holistic global program-oriented approach
Experience with designing and installing customized software and hardware solutions
Knowledge of developing cloud based or cloud native solutions
Knowledge of best practices regarding system security measures
Knowledge of endpoint and network-based security solutions
Ability to implement solutions at a business-wide level
Ability to provide detailed input on specifications for proposed technical solutions including resources needed, timeline, and scope involved
Ability to assist other Information Technology engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and able to present analysis and findings to peers and leadership and conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies for risk mitigation
Ability to obtain a security clearance
HS diploma or GED
Experience with collaborating with dispersed teams contributing to global and multi-functional teams
Experience with analytical/problem solving skills and cross functional knowledge across multiple IT operational and security disciplines
Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks
Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations
Ability to work well under pressure and within time/budget constraints to solve problems or meet objectives
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
