Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with security strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends in order to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Develop security guidance, best practices, and general corporate security standards for securing all network environments including DMZ, LAN, WAN, local and cloud. Lead adoption of these security designs and controls through publication of reference architectures, involvement in architecture committees, and active participation in tactical and strategic projects. Perform security reviews, develop intellectual property and be the voice for secure network controls throughout the organization. Support collaboration with Information Services leadership and the rest of the team for Booz Allen Hamilton worldwide across a broad set of security disciplines providing an integrated network security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business impacting security, operational security and risk issues. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
8+ years of experience with network security design, strategies and protocols, including SD-LAN/SD-WAN structures
Experience with network security tools, controls, and concepts, including switching, routing, firewalls, proxies, and load balancing
Knowledge of TCP/IP and network communications
Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and DevSecOps practices
Knowledge of computer security forensics and security vulnerabilities
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with programming or scripting languages, including C++, Perl, Java, or Python
Knowledge of the use of databases for reporting, including SQL language
Knowledge of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in security
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
CISSP or related certification

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 140,000 to 150,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
