Support and establish an overarching process to include privacy, compliance and regulatory factors and guidelines for responding to respective region’s-based data loss cases. Create frameworks and map current state and prepare a roadmap for the future state. Support stakeholders to identify crown jewels and new risks to achieve successful risk reduction. Develop use cases, create, test and implement DLP policies and rules to support data loss prevention. Support and build out data loss prevention service, in addition to maturing incident response for data breaches. Support operations of cloud access security broker solutions, including maintaining knowledge of new CASB features and functions. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
3+ years of experience in information security or related technology experience
Experience as a data protection engineer, data loss prevention, insider threat, SOC, and cybersecurity operations with specific understanding of the tactics, techniques and procedures
Experience with programming languages, including Python, C++, PERL, or Java
Experience with writing and documenting DLP policy content, build outs, processes and workflows
Experience with data protection and data loss prevention tools
BA or BS degree
Experience with working in the corporate or federal realm or data protection and data loss prevention program
Experience with investigative or data protection and data loss prevention tools, including DLP, Data Classification, Monitoring, Splunk, Incident Response, or data visualization
Knowledge of conducting complex investigations with data loss emphasis
