Key Role:
Leverage technical understanding of cyber security to create and apply solutions aligned to client's mission. Apply specific functional knowledge; working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance; review or guide activities of junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field performing cyber engineering, cyber risk assessments, or cyber authorization activities
Experience executing cyber risk assessment and authorization processes for complex programs and systems, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience analyzing cyber vulnerabilities, assessing system compliance against security controls, and developing risk mitigation plans and strategies
Experience communicating technical solutions to clients
Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and methodologies for applying to system design
Ability to analyze cybersecurity authorization documentation and artifacts, including policies, standard operating procedures, and security plans
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with completing a DoD cyber authorization package
Experience with A&A processes and cybersecurity engineering
Experience with developing cybersecurity risk assessment processes
Experience analyzing network configurations and network architecture diagrams
Experience generating process improvement changes for improved and efficient operations
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in a technical field a plus
CISSP Certification
