As a Cybersecurity Architect on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation upfront and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions. Grow your skills by merging innovative engineering methodologies and cross-disciplinary coordination to create tomorrow’s solutions. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a cybersecurity architect supporting space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, and hardware system

  • Experience with providing input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation 

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies 

  • Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2 

  • Knowledge of network design processes, including security objectives, operational objectives, and trade-offs 

  • Ability to perform technical analyses of cybersecurity architectures and network diagrams 

  • Ability to build architectures and frameworks and perform technical analyses of cybersecurity architectures and network diagrams 

  • Secret clearance 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Information Security

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems 

  • Experience with developing system security context and a preliminary system security Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and defining baseline system security requirements in accordance with applicable cybersecurity requirements 

  • Experience with programming languages, including Java and C++ 

  • Knowledge of database systems

  • TS/SCI clearance 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Information Security

  • Information Assurance Level III Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, including ISSE or IASAE

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
