Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Leverage domain knowledge to create cyber security solutions aligned to client's mission. Apply specific functional knowledge; working and general industry knowledge. May develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Ensure department-wide compliance with security policy and with the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and review component security programs and systems. Track remediation of General Accounting Office and Office of the Inspector General Audit Findings. Generate numerous reports which are reviewed by the highest-level personnel within the department and other outside agencies. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity, IT, or engineering strategy

  • 2+ years of experience with policy management and assessment

  • Knowledge of federal security standards, including FISMA, NIST, and Risk Management Framework

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint

  • Experience with writing proposals

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Public Trust

  • CISSP or Security + Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $70,000 to $80,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
