Key Role:
Leverage technical understanding of cybersecurity to create and apply solutions aligned to client's mission. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentors and supervise team members. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with deploying and maintaining network security, including IDS, IPS, Linux, and Splunk
Experience with designing a Zero Trust Architecture, including the implementation of multifactor authentication and data encryption solutions
Experience with packet capture and analysis
Experience with basic Linux troubleshooting
Experience with deploying and maintaining applications using a Linux command line interface
Knowledge of network infrastructure devices, TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, basic service ports, spanning ports, and TCP/UDP traffic
Knowledge of policy engines
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with implementing a Zero Trust architecture
Experience with Zeek
Experience with writing and interpreting Suricata IDS rules
Experience with malware analysis
Experience with Tenable.sc, Nessus, and Burp Suite
Experience with JSON and YAML
CISSP, OSCP, CISM or CISA Certification
Security+ Certification

Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 110,000 to 120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
