Serve as a Cyber-Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) subject matter expert and staff action officer within a senior, DoD, cybersecurity client. Integrate cybersecurity, acquisition strategy, supply chain complexity, stakeholder engagement, and information sharing principles. Work closely with OSD, military, interagency, and intelligence stakeholders to ensure approaches, constraints, and perspectives are communicated and considered in risk management, acquisition and policy decisions. Drive implementation and metrics analysis across Combatant Commands, Services, and Components in order to protect information systems and networks, enabling the Warfighter. Generate and present recommendations along with analysis. Build and communicate policy and technical analysis, requirements, and recommendations to senior government officials and high-ranking military personnel in the form of briefings, whitepapers, and verbal communication.
-8+ years of experience in the cybersecurity or information technology (IT) acquisition, or software assurance
-4+ years of experience in supporting supply chain, cybersecurity, or risk management efforts within DoD
-4+ years of experience with working within OSD or Joint Staff, writing and staffing executive or formal senior-level correspondence and/or decision-support materials
-3+ years of experience in developing cybersecurity or IT policy and guidance
-Experience with developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences and DoD leadership
-Knowledge of DoD and Interagency cybersecurity policy and governance
-Ability to lead or work on teams
- Experience with risk analysis
- Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
- Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
- Knowledge of DoD policy around non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, including supply chain risk management
- Possession of written and verbal communications skills
- Possession of organizational skills
