Leverage comprehension of telecommunications networks, next generation networking concepts and solutions, and communications protocols (including air interface) to aid in vulnerability analyses and assessments. Use knowledge of controls frameworks to guide vulnerability and security analysis. Consult with team and leadership on security methodologies and vulnerability analysis approaches. Leverage experience with networking and communication protocols to fuel analysis. Facilitate collaboration on these technologies and concepts. Apply practical experience with these concepts to applied research, security, and vulnerability analysis scenarios in order to develop security solutions around these vulnerabilities. Collaborate with developers to create marketable solutions.
-5+ years of experience with network, security, and vulnerability analysis
-Experience with controls, and mitigations
-Knowledge of telecommunication protocols, architecture, and processes, including air interface protocols
-Knowledge of security architecture and design, including firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networking, and virus/malware protection technologies
-Knowledge of next generation networking solutions including Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC), and network slicing
-Knowledge of 5G use cases including Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), smart warehouses, and V2X
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Perl, and PHP
-Knowledge of 5G protocols, architecture, network slicing, or MEC
