Duties you will be expected to perform:

    • Ability to carry out and document forensic acquisition and analysis on variety of devices and operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac).
    • Assist with implementing guidelines on malware triage and cybersecurity response. 
    • Assess and troubleshoot a variety of technical issues in support of investigations related to individuals and groups operating with potentially malicious or alleged criminal intent.
    • Conduct analysis in the area of network security and intrusion artifacts for attribution and motives.
    • Liaise with other operational/investigative/technical teams to assist and provide and/or gather information.
    • Provide feedback to relevant departments to enhance the company’s security framework.

Skills that will be pertinent for the position:

    • Working knowledge of digital forensics and cyber incident response procedures to include an understanding of digital chain of custody, secure storage, and law enforcement forensic guidelines.
    • Experience working in one or more of Threat Intelligence, Cyber Security Operations, or Digital Forensics.
    • Understanding of advanced cyber threats, adversary methodologies, and cyber threat intelligence.
    • Understanding of cryptocurrencies and differences between separate blockchains / networks. 
    • Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely.

Skills that are preferred, but not necessarily required:

    • Proficiency in a language other than English (Chinese, Russian, Spanish, or Turkish is preferred).
    • Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
    • Familiarity with blockchain analytics, either using existing tools or manually tracking funds effectively using relevant block explorers.
    • Ability to decrypt digital data.
